John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

What a blessing to look at Jesus as the Good, Great, and Chief Shepherd as we have done the past few days. But the most important way to look at Jesus Christ and to know Him is as the Lamb of God, the one, the only one able to take away sin. If one does not know Him as that Good Shepherd who gave His life for the sins of the world nothing else matters. Said goodby to a loved one yesterday as they had drawn their last breath in this world and the only thought that keeps flooding my mind is that they knew their Good Shepherd and had asked Him in faith and believing to take away their sin. Escorted by angels into the very presence of their savior they now see with their eyes what they saw in faith in this world. Are you saved today, are you born again, have you asked the Lamb of God to take away your sin? Nothing else really matters in this world for only the Good Shepherd can secure you a place in heaven for all eternity. Be sure you have repented of sin and asked Jesus Christ to save you, know the Lamb of God.
