January 1st, 2025 by Pastor SolleyLuke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
KJV
Had the blessing of praying in the New Year with some dear brothers and sisters in Christ at our church last evening and I cannot recall a time when God’s people, and our nation has needed prayer more. If Jesus emphasized the importance of prayer then we should engage in the action of prayer. But how willing are we to commit to prayer in this New Year? I am not talking about making a New Year’s resolution, I am talking about getting serious and busy in the work of prayer. It is easy to talk about and preach about prayer, but do we pray as we should, do we pray as we could? Why not commit to prayer and see what God will do in our lives? With us last evening were many seeking miracles in their lives and the way they will come is through prayer. Let the example of Jesus and the truth of His Word guide you into a deeper and richer prayer life in 2025 and we will see that our God honors His Word and still answers prayer.
