Daily Devotions

Dan 2:20-21 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:
21 And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:

Another election over in America and a new President elect will take office in January. Many are gloating this morning and many are crying over the results but this one thing I know and one thing I know we as a nation should do. First, my God is in control of everything and He does have the power to remove and set up kings and I was ready to thank the God of heaven for the results no matter how the election turned out. Second, what if America made the true and almighty God the one we followed and not one political party or the other? What if America returned to being “One nation under God”? That is what I pray for this morning, that our leaders would turn to Jesus Christ, receive Him and follow Him. Then this would be an election we all could celebrate.
