Acts 2:46-47 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

On this Monday what will you continue in? No church services today, no scheduled prayer meeting today, what will you continue in? We have our regular Sunday routine, up, dress, off to church, sing, listen to the message, back home. Rest in the afternoon, back to church, sing, listen to the message back home. Were you glad for yesterday, did the Lord’s Day fill you with joy, did it bring you closer to Jesus Christ and brothers and sisters in Christ? Are you praising God today for what took place yesterday? That was the case with those believers in our reading this morning and they continued the next day and the next and the next being moved by the Holy Spirit of God. What will you continue in today? Will today take you back into a weekly routine that has little time for the things of God, little time for prayer, little time for His Word, little time for anything but self and the world? That is the case with many if not most professing Christians. But what will you continue in today? May we follow the example of those believers at Jerusalem and continue today in the things of God for our God wants first place in our lives each and everyday, not just Sunday.
