1 Cor 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
KJV
I listened some time ago to a message brought by evangelist Oliver Green in which he was speaking about Christian conduct and he has this to say “If you can do it and do all to the glory of God then do it. But if God cannot be glorified then don’t do it.” Simple and to the point but so profound. What I look at today, can I look at those things for the glory of God or should I turn my eyes away? What I say today can I say to the glory of God or should I ask for a guard to be placed upon my lips? Where I go today can I go to the glory of God or should I choose another place to spend my time? Am I going to do all to the glory of God today? I wonder how our lives would change if we did all to the glory of God? Self is often glorified today, Satan is often glorified today, sin is often glorified today and in the lives of the lost it is expected, but what of the professing believer in Jesus Christ? What god will you glorify today, the god of the world, or the God of heaven? Let it be the God of heaven.
