Daily Devotions
December 29th, 2023 by Pastor SolleyPs 32:10-11 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the Lord, mercy shall compass him about.
11 Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
KJV
Our last daily devotion for 2023 and that seems almost impossible to me. As I look back over the past year I want to look back and thank the Lord for all that He has done for me and praise Him. The past year held many trials for our church and church family as well as for me and my family but in all of them I can thank the Lord for His goodness, His mercy and His grace. Some left this world and are now with the Lord in heaven and I thank Him for that. Some are dealing with sickness that is serious and I thank the Lord for His grace and strength I see in them. Some have departed our church family and I pray for them. Some have been added and I thank the Lord for them. Some have medical tests and procedures upcoming in 2024 and we pray for God’s will for each one. Not only can we be glad and rejoice as we look back we can be glad and rejoice as we look forward as well. It is important that we take time to thank the Lord for what He has done, for His perfect will and just rejoice in Him. What a wonderful Savior is Jesus my Jesus.
