15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Are you ready for Christmas? That question is an often asked question but I have a more important one for you today. The verses above started the time clock. The first promise of the redeemer is found in verse fifteen and that started the clock ticking that would lead to a manger, a cross, an empty tomb, a place at the Father’s side in heaven and then the Second Coming. We will once again celebrate the manger and the giving of the Son of God into this world in just a few days and I think often of the events held in that promise first given so long ago. All but one of them have passed as Jesus Christ was given into the world and laid in that manger, He went to the cross, His arose from the dead, He stands now at the right hand of the Father in heaven, all but one has passed. As we will celebrate the first of those great events the question we need to answer is “Are you ready for the last event?” Are you ready to meet Jesus Christ, are you ready to meet Him today? Are you born again? Have you repented of sin and called on Jesus Christ to forgive and save you? Are you ready to meet Jesus today? Many people ask me if I am ready for Christmas this time each your and I may or may not be ready as of yet but what I am ready to do is meet Jesus today. The rapture may not be today, but I am ready. My heart may stop beating today but that is OK because I am ready. Are you ready to meet Jesus today? Jesus Christ did not come into this world so we could celebrate Christmas in the way most do, Jesus Christ came to save sinners like me and you. Are you ready to meet Jesus today? If not take your Bible and read John chapter three, Romans chapter ten and then turn from self and sin and trust Jesus today.
