1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Are you peculiar? Peculiar in your love for the Lord Jesus Christ, peculiar in your walk with the Lord Jesus Christ, peculiar in your desire for the light of the Word of God, are you peculiar? The compromise of our day, the acceptance of sin, the silence of the believer in Christ, the lack of witnessing to the lost has made most in Christianity today not very peculiar at all. God wants us to be a peculiar people. Are you peculiar? A moth is attracted to light because it stands out in darkness. Do you stand out? If no one has ever wondered about the difference Christ has made in you, if no one has ever been attracted, you are not very peculiar. God wants us to be peculiar.
