I hope you will stop and praise the Lord this morning and throughout this Thanksgiving Day. Listening to the news last evening I hear that the liberal mind now wants to change Thanksgiving into “Truthgiving”, so I thought I would do that this morning. This is the truth. I being born a sinner am worthy of hell but Jesus came into this world to die for sinners like me. Thank you Jesus. I was convicted of my sin many years ago and repented of that sin, asked Jesus to save me, and now I have been delivered from hell and have a home in heaven. Thank you Jesus. I have been blessed with a loving wife who loves Jesus, two children who are saved, a son-in-law who is saved, three wonderful grandchildren who are all saved. Thank you Jesus. My son, who is saved, will marry a good Christian young lady who loves Jesus soon. Thank you Jesus. I have been allowed to serve Jesus as a pastor for all these many years. Thank you Jesus. We have a church family and not just a congregation. Thank you Jesus. We have a home that is much more than a house. Thank you Jesus. We have food on the table, clothes to wear, shoes on our feet. Thank you Jesus. I can go on all day in truth and in a few hours will gather with our church family for a special service on this special day. Thank you Jesus. I believe I can turn this day into “Truthgiving” and that makes it all the more a better Thanksgiving day. Thank you Jesus. Happy Thanksgiving.
