Daily Devotions

Acts 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

How often do you find yourself searching from something that will last? I have been searching for a few things to replace some things that have worn out in our home and what I have found is that the new things are not going to last as long as the old things that have worn out and that is very frustrating. I want something that will last. When you find yourself searching for something that will last try turning to the Bible. Those ones who searched the Scriptures found something that would last. The words you find in the Bible are eternal words. (Matt 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.) Every word in our King James Bible is true and eternal and will not pass away. Are you searching for something that will last? Turn to the Jesus of the Bible, turn to the truth of the Word of God, turn to something that has never faltered and never will. Search the Scriptures and you will find something that will last.
