Do you know someone who thinks they know everything about everything? Do you know someone who whats to know everything before they do anything? Did you know knowledge is a very good thing but that we don’t need to know everything? In our text verse this morning we see a great man of faith that did not know everything and did not need to know everything. Abraham went out not knowing where he was going. What Abraham did know was that God was in charge of his life and it would be best to obey God. That was enough knowledge for Abraham and God then blessed him above and beyond what he ever could have imagined. What if we just obeyed God in the way that Abraham did? What if we stopped asking the question of why? What if we just followed in the will of God and did not have to know the why? Knowledge is a good thing but it is also true that we don’t have to know everything and there are some things we are better off not knowing. We don’t need to know the why of everything to follow God.
