August 15th, 2023 by Pastor Solley1 Tim 4:15-16 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.
16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

How often do you meditate upon the things of God? It seems that minds are often a jumbled mess today. So many things to think about, so many things to occupy the mind, so many things to question, so many things to worry about. Count the times you hear the worry or scared throughout a day. Stop and count the times you say those words or think them. Minds are often a jumbled mess today. One needs to stop and meditate upon the things of God. Consider these verses. (Ps 1:1-2 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. ; Ps 63:5-6 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips: 6 When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches. ; Ps 77:11-12 I will remember the works of the Lord: surely I will remember thy wonders of old. 12 I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings. ; Ps 119:14-15 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches. 15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways. ; Ps 119:47-48 And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved. 48 My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.) Want to clear your mind of the clutter of the world, of worry and fear? Meditate upon the things of God.
