Households change over the years and they are natural changes. Children grow up, parents grow older and with those changes come more changes. Children leave the home and make homes of their own, parents will one day pass from this life and if they know Jesus Christ as personal savior enter into a far better life in heaven. Those changes are natural but are changes none the less and most of us don’t like change all that much. But our place in the household of God never changes. We have the Holy Spirit as one who has sealed us into that house. We have Jesus as our personal savior, that one who will never leave us nor forsake us. We have our relationship with a heavenly Father for eternity. None are ever taken out of this household, only ones added to it as they are born again. Then we have a mansion in our heavenly household prepared for us by Jesus Himself. Our heavenly household is such a wonderful and blessed reality that we should find something to rejoice in each day because of it. Changes take place all the time in this world but we find a heavenly household that never changes and we can rejoice in that.
