14 And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.
15 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:
16 For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.

What was Jesus passionate about during Passion Week? We have noted so far that Jesus was passionate about lost souls, about His house, about teaching those who had a desire to hear. This morning we see that Jesus was passionate about fellowship. It was the desire of Jesus to sit with His disciples one more time before the cross. Fellowship is a very important thing to our Lord and Jesus wants to be able to fellowship with us today. What is hindering that fellowship between us and Jesus today? Sin will hinder that fellowship. One of the men in that upper room would soon leave because he was walking in sin, he was serving Satan and self and not our Lord. Light can have no communion or fellowship with darkness and sin in our lives hinders fellowship. Worldly interest can hinder our fellowship. We all must pay attention to things that are not so spiritual but when they have a higher place in our lives than they should they begin to hinder fellowship with our Lord. There are many things that hinder fellowship with Jesus Christ. One thing we know is that Jesus wants us to spend time with Him today, fellowship with Him today. But will we take time to read and meditate upon the Word of God spending time with our Savior? Will we spend time in prayer today, real time in real prayer and in fellowship with our Savior? How much time will we spend in fellowship with Jesus today. It is His desire to fellowship with us.
