Did you know that on average a person will say seven thousand words in a day? I have yet to speak to anyone this morning beside the Lord in prayer but there will be many words come out of my mouth today as I go about my daily duties. Some words spoken in this home, some in the homes of others. Some words spoken in businesses, some in hospitals and nursing homes and some just to myself when I find myself alone. What will all those words say about me? Jesus the Bible says had no guile in His mouth, in His words. That word means craft, deceit, subtitle. Jesus always had an answer for all men and that answer was always true and to the point, Jesus never tried to deceive anyone and still does not today. What a different world this would be if that were true of all people today. But it needs to be true of the Christian. We are to follow His example, follow in His steps. What of the words that will come out of our mouths today? Will they be honest words? Will they be words that draw others to Christ? Will they be words that help those in need? You will say many words today and those words need to after the example of Jesus.
