September 23rd, 2022 by Pastor SolleyEph 1:6-7 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
KJV
Thank you Jesus for accepting me. That should be part of every prayer we bring before the throne of grace, thank you Jesus for accepting me. What did we bring of ourselves that would make any of us worthy of being accepted in the beloved? The answer to that question is nothing. What can we do to remain in the beloved? That answer again is nothing. Yet we stand today as born again believers in Christ accepted in the beloved by the shed blood and work of Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ alone. Thank you Jesus for accepting me. I was saved many years ago and like a friend of mine who is in heaven now used to say “I never got over it”. Thank you Jesus for accepting me. I hope and pray as you read this today that you have been accepted in the beloved and if that is so that you never get over it as well. To be born a sinner apart from God, to have the love of God poured out upon you, to be convicted of sin and see a savior hanging on a cross, to see an empty tomb and to repent and call out to Jesus to be saved placing faith and trust in Jesus and Jesus alone. That my friend makes one accepted in the beloved. Thank you Jesus for accepting me.
