2 Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?
3 Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.
4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;

God also had some questions for Job as Job demanded some answers for the trials he was going through. Several of those questions are now recorded at the close of the book of Job. God first wants to know why Job would question God without knowledge. God knew of the trials Job was going through, God knew how Job was feeling, God knew at that very moment the pain Job was feeling. But God also had knowledge of what was coming and Job did not. We see the trial, but we do not see beyond as God does. When we ask God why we only see the present as Job did. It is when we fasten our eyes on the present that we fail to acknowledge that God sees what is ahead. For Job God saw the blessings and reward that would come towards the end of his life.
(Job 42:12 So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.) Job could only see the present heartache and pain. Remember when the storms of life seem to be coming down upon us that God sees beyond the storm.
