KJV
As the friends of Job came to comfort him at a time when he needed them they were not at all good comforters. One must read the book of Job to see this. But they did ask some interesting and telling questions. One of those questions is above and the answer to that question is yes. Now we will never fully understand the mind of God and I certainly have many questions for which I do not have an answer. But we can certainly seek and find God. Jesus said “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:” God certainly does not want to hide from man and especially from those who have repented from sin and received Jesus Christ as personal savior. God does not hide when the storms of life arise. We can find out God. Not find out the mind of God but find the presence of God. We can call out to Christ in our times of need and doubt and find perfect peace in His presence. We can look to Christ and follow His perfect leading in our lives. We can seek Christ and as we do we will find Him near to us. Jesus also said “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Yes, Job could search out God and find God as we can today. Not to question God about all that takes place in this life, about all that we do not understand but to find peace and comfort in His presence. Seek and ye shall find.
