Matt 24:7-8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
KJV
A final thought concerning these days in which we are living is that we should not be paralyzed by fear and do nothing. All through the ages there has been danger in this world, Satan has been active in this world trying to destroy all that is of God including God’s people. What if Noah had been so overtaken by fear of a coming world wide flood he had done nothing? What if David followed the example of the leaders of the army of Israel and had done nothing when he saw the giant before him? What if the apostles in the upper room because of fear of the jews had decided to remain there? We may see different circumstances today but it is the same enemy. It is also the same God before us. Will the God of Noah, David, the apostles and others take care of us in the same way He took care of them? He has promised to do just that. (Luke 12:28-31 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? 29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. 30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. 31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.) Stay active for Christ for He is always acting on your behalf.
