Matt 24:8-14 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
KJV
As we stand so close to the rapture, as we see the beginning of sorrows, it should increase our burden for those who remain lost in sin and bound for an eternal hell. We are not preaching the Kingdom Gospel stated in verse fourteen, we are preaching the soon return of Jesus to rapture His own before the tribulation period, but we still need to spread the gospel message. The last thing Jesus commanded in this world before He ascended back into heaven after His resurrection from the grave was for us to go into all the world with the gospel message. Are we doing that? Do we have a burden to fulfill His commission? How many friends and relatives do you have that are lost in sin today? How many need to be brought to the Savior? What if that trumpet were to sound today? How many would you never see again? As we see the beginning of sorrows it should increase our sorrow for those who are apart from God’s grace and free gift of salvation in Jesus Christ. There is but one way to heaven. (John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.) Our burden to tell others should be increasing as we see the day approaching.
