15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

“I will be with him in trouble”. Seven words, seven simple words, seven powerful words, seven comforting words. We see those words come to life as David stood in the shadow of Goliath, as Daniel went to the den of lions, as Jeremiah sunk in the mire, as Peter was cast into prison, as Paul stood in deck of a ship in a violent storm and so many more instances that they all could not be named in one hundred devotionals. They are seven words that the child of God can depend upon today. What of those who lost their lives? Peter was crucified, Paul was beheaded, others tortured and murdered because of their faith. What of those ones? They were not left alone, they were not forsaken, those seven words gave them strength to remain faithful to the Lord while in so great a trial. Seven words. I seem to be learning more and more how precious those seven words are. Seven words, seven simple words, seven powerful words, seven comforting words.
