February 25th, 2022 by Pastor SolleyHeb 13:5-6 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

We end our week in the same place it began, “Hath said”. But this promise seems to have even more meaning with all the changes we have witnessed over the past few days. War has broken out in Europe and one that could bring another world war. Prices on the rise. Crime on the rise. Politicians out of touch with reality it seems. So many changes taking place so fast. Where can one look for stability? Where can one look to find a calming influence? The same place we looked on Monday, to the one who “hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” Now verse six become so real in the lives of the believer in Christ as we can boldly say, “ The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” While we may be concerned with all the changes taking place in this world we can also rest assured that the one we placed our faith and trust in has not nor will He ever change and His promise and promises are true. I rejoice this morning that “God hath said.”
