Ps 91:1-5 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

The Bible speaks of a secret place here in the 91st Psalm. A secret place is one where few people go, not every man or woman goes there, not even every Christian man or woman. It is a place where refuge is found, where trust is built, where one can be delivered and covered from the enemy, a place where fear is taken away. While not all go to this secret place I find that we can make our dwelling there. (Ps 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.) When I choose to enter this secret place, to dwell with Him I spend my time with Him, all centers around Him. Lets go back to the tabernacle for a moment which is where David worshiped when this Psalm was given. Many came to the tabernacle, many entered the gate, many stood in the outer court. But it was only a few who entered the tabernacle itself and then only one who went into the Holy of Holies, the place that was secret. Today every believer in Christ has access to that secret place, but few chose to enter in. Many came to the house of worship yesterday, but how many will enter into the secret place today? This is the Holy of Holies of the tabernacle, the place where the mercy seat was found, the place where the candlestick of God was the only source of light. In that day the invitation to enter was for one, but today it is for all. Read this Psalm today and this week we will walk into this secret place, we will make our dwelling there, we will find a place of safety and rest.
