1 Peter 5:8-9 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
1 Peter 1:14-17 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

Another way to resist the Satanic activity that is taking over our society and nation today is to return to living as God commands His children to live, by a holy standard. The words of verse sixteen above go bak to the Law but they are not confined to that law of Moses, they are a part of the law of God. God commands holy living and that standard comes from the Bible. The sin that God labels in the Bible is still sin today, the acts that God points out as an abomination to Him the Bible remain an abomination today. God’s Holiness has not changed and sin continues to be sin. Stand against sin today and one is labeled as unloving and judgmental but that is not true at all. To wink at sin and claim God now accepts every idea and action of man is in reality unloving. Why not stand against the sin that is keeping man from Jesus Christ, point out the need for repentance, and the free gift of salvation in Christ? That is the loving thing to do and that is one way Satan can be resisted today.
