Luke 13:6-9 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

“This year also”. We stand at the beginning of another year as we count time and none of us know what 2022 is going to bring. One thing we can be sure of is that it is time to get back to serving the Lord the way we are commanded to do in the Bible. Over the past two years many have stopped what has been called traditional church services because they were all told we need to listen to the science. That has not solved any of the problems we are facing and perhaps now it is time to get back to listening to God and the Bible. What will we do for Christ in 2022? Will we follow the clear command in the Bible to tell others about Jesus taking once again the gospel to those lost in sin. Will we get back to worship as we commanded in the Bible to assemble together? Will we get back to praising the Lord, to lifting up our voices to the Lord as we should? Instead of listening and trusting the science to get us past the problems we are facing today why not trust and listen to the Lord in 2022?
