Rom 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
KJV
What is reasonable, continued from yesterday. Was it reasonable for Jesus to leave heaven and come into this sin cursed world and to place Himself under the rules of nature? Then was it reasonable for Jesus to subject Himself to ridicule and scorn? (Mark 5:40 And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.) Was it reasonable for Jesus to subject Himself time and time again to blasphemy? (Matt 12:32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.)
Was it reasonable to come to seek and to save only to have those ones reject Him? Was it reasonable to live in the world He created with no home of His own? (Matt 8:20 And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.) Was it reasonable for Jesus to do all this, to subject Himself to all of this, for me? Is that reasonable? Before I can determine what is reasonable for me to give to Him, for me to give to Jesus, I need see what was reasonable for Jesus to give to me.
