We have a great deal to be thankful for in this nation and Thanksgiving is a holiday and time we do need to stop and thank God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ for His goodness, mercy and His grace. It was a wonderful day yesterday beginning with our Thanksgiving Day worship service. Time spent with family around a table filled with God’s provision. We were able then to make a visit into a rest home and spend time with a few of the residents. Home to children and grandchildren and happy voices. Then a good night sleep resting in the Lord. But to be able to give thanks for salvation, for Jesus and the price He paid on the cross for our sin, to thank Him for shedding His precious blood that is still able to wash away the sin of man today. To thank Him that salvation is for all and free to all who will turn from sin and place faith and trust in His finished work on the cross asking for Jesus to save them. To know that we are His and that we can never be lost. What great blessings are found in Jesus Christ and I pray you know Him today for that offer of salvation is for you and it is still free. God be thanked.
