November 23rd, 2021 by Pastor SolleyCol 3:13-17 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

How can I make others be thankful for me? (Yesterdays devotional.) One way is to follow after what we find in our Bible reading this morning. If I allow the peace of God, the Word of God to dwell in me and follow after that Word and my Savior people will be thankful for me. Then I will be able to forgive as Jesus forgives. (Verse 13) Then I will be able to love as Jesus loves. (Verse 14) Then I will walk in wisdom before God and men. (Verse 16) Then I will do all for Jesus and be thankful for Him. (Verse 17) Then we can walk as one and be thankful one for another. (Verse 15) But to do these things, to walk in this way, self must be set aside and Jesus lifted up in our lives daily. Are we willing to take the necessary steps to make others thankful for us?
