Mal 3:6 For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
KJV
I for one am glad that God never changes. This Sunday morning in most of the United States we will change time, going from daylight savings time back to standard time. During WWII daylight savings time was used, changing time so there would be more daylight in the summer months and then in the sixties it was adopted through the Uniform Time Act in congress so that each year there are changes in the way we count the hours in our day. This Sunday morning the “time” changes and we tell time differently. But does time really change, are there more hours in a day in the summer and less in the winter? If time does change then where does that hour disappear to in the winter and where does it come back from in the summer? What a blessing and comfort it is to know that our God never changes. Winter, spring, summer of fall God never changes. Year after year, God never changes. I am glad I do not look to a changing God today. With all the changes we see taking place around us I am so glad that our God never changes.
