Mal 3:1-6 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.
2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:
3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.
4 Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord, as in the days of old, and as in former years.
5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the Lord of hosts.
6 For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
KJV
Another thing that never changes with God is His holiness and because God is always holy God must judge sin. We need praise God for the messenger or messengers that were sent our way, those that gave the gospel, those that had a part in leading us to Christ. Because one is born again the judgement of our sin was placed on Jesus Christ. But God will judge sin and that very true today as we see the evil that is overtaking this world. Those who mock God, ignore God, try and silence the voices of the children of God will be judged one day and their end will not be good as the Lake of Fire will be their eternal home. What should our attitude be when we think of these ones who are lost, these ones who seem to be of such an evil nature? We should desire to be the messenger God sends to them so they might hear the good news of the gospel message, so they might confess sin, repent, and turn to Jesus Christ. Never forget that all souls are precious to Christ and that a messenger was once sent to us. Desire to be a messenger today.
