Ps 73:23-2823 Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.
24 Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
25 Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
27 For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.

“Whom have I in heaven but thee” the Psalms says. What a blessed thought. That the God of heaven will and does watch out for us. With that in mind David proclaimed that he was continually with the Lord. That God was holding him by the right hand. Is that true of you today? That you are continually with the Lord? If so then we will find ourselves walking in His counsel.
(Verse 24) My thought today comes out of the rest of verse 24. That we will be received into His glory. That will be your reward for walking with Him, for obeying Him. We will be received into His glory. Things at times are difficult in this world, it is not always easy to follow the path that God has set before us. Perhaps it would be better to say it is seldom easy. But there is a reward coming in the end. We will be received into His glory. If that demands sacrifice here, if it demands service and separation here, it will be worth it all then.
