Ps 101:1-3 I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.
2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.
3 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes : I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes. How many can say what David did today? Very, very few. I am preaching Sunday on pornography and it is a hard message to get ready. The Lord began to speak some time ago abut devoting a message to this plague on our society. In doing research for the message I came across the “XXXChurch” No I did not view their website and I do not advise it. But I did see their logo. It was a picture of Jesus with these words underneath; “Jesus loves porn stars.” They have actors and movie makers of the snuff films speak every week. Not how God brought them out of it, how God blesses them in it. Nothing proves more how much hold Satan has on the world, people and the church today. How many evil things do we set before our eyes today? Things we have gotten used to, things that are accepted today as the norm. But things that are still not right with God. Let us be like David and begin today to set no evil thing before our eyes.
