Zech 8:13 And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong.

Another look at the last time the command given to be strong in the Old Testament. Here God commands that our hands be strong. Why add hands to the command? God does not tell us to wring our hands in dispar and anguish. God does not tell us to sit on our hands. God commands our hands be strong. Strong in work my friend. When I think of strong hands I think of working hands. My father had very strong hands and my father was a very hard working man. When I think of strong hands I think of working hands. God wants us working in these last days, not sitting idle, not wringing our hands, but working and working for Him. This is no time to do nothing. The Bible tells us to work for the night is coming when work will be no more. The Bible tells us to present ourselves a living sacrifice. We need to be even more active for the Lord today, not less. What of your spiritual hands? Are they marked by work, are they strong hands because they are used? Or are they hands that are sitting idle? We are to have strong hands.
