Jude 1-4 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
2 Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to always talk about the good things of God, the blessings of God, to hear messages that are of a positive note all the time? I certainly think it would be and there are enough positive things in the Bible that one could certainly do that. But that leads to the “Crepts”. We find them in verse four above, some who come into the fold but are not of the fold of God. They are wolves in sheep’s clothing who have come to destroy the flock. They come in because the shepherd has not warned and protected the flock. Jude writes, under inspiration, that it was needful to warn, needful to exhort those ones to contend for the faith. And so it is today, we must be on guard, we must watch for any and all that would harm and destroy all that is of God. If we are not watchful the devil will send things our way to move us away from the Lord.
(Matt 13:25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.) This is a sobering thought, or at least it should be, what has the devil been allowed to bring into our lives because we have been asleep instead of on watch? What has the devil planted that is going to harm us along the way? What needs to be rooted out of our lives? No Christian or church is exempt from this type of attack so be on guard today, watch today, because you are under this type of attack today.
