April 23rd, 2021 by Pastor SolleyRom 8:26-28 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

The word infirmities above means to be sick, to be weak, even to be diseased. Why doesn’t God just deliver us from all these things? Why not spare the Christian from infirmities? It is a question often asked and the best answer I can give comes from an old pastor who is now with the Lord. He told me one time that “You can never have a testimony without a test.” This man went through much in his life and he always stayed faithful to the Lord, was always praising and thanking the Lord for the things that took place in his life, especially the trials. “You can never have a testimony without a test.” How thankful we should be today that we have one to help in our times of need, that we have one who will make intercessions for us when we don’t know how to pray, when we can’t get the words out. How thankful we should be that one will search our heart and pray for us within the will of God. How thankful we should be that because of Him all things will work together for good. Whatever you face today be thankful for the infirmities because then one is praying for you.
