8 Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.
9 For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.

Seeing is believing. Why is it that so many today are so indifferent to the church and the things of the Lord while at the same time they profess to know Jesus as their personal savior? Could it be because they seldom see one on fire for the Lord, one sold out for the Lord, one excited about the Lord? We read of those ones in the Bible, we can read biographies about the believers in the past such as Billy Sunday and others, but we seldom see it today. Could it be that so many are so indifferent today because they have never seen and find it hard to believe what Jesus Christ can do in a life? Noah was so on fire for the Lord that he built an ark, Moses led a people, David fought a giant, Peter left a business. We see it in the Bible. Billy Sunday was a professional baseball player when God called him to preach. We see it in the saints of the past. But what of you, what of me today? Do people see a life changed by the Lord, a life given to the Lord, a person on fire for the Lord, or do they see a professing Christian going through the motions? Do they see one given more to self and the world than to Jesus Christ? Do they see someone who will quit over a bump in the road? No wonder so many are so indifferent to the things of the Lord today. Lets give them something to see.
