People like to pick out things in the Bible. The most important point in time recorded in the Bible. The most important miracle in the Bible. The most important people in the Bible. The most important verse in the Bible. All these things can be debated and no right answer found. I want to give to you some of the most joyous words found in the Bible this morning. “To do thou shalt be with me”. What blessed and joyous words “To do thou shalt be with me”. I know I left off the last two words of the verse and one day we shall be with Him in heaven if we know Him as our personal savior. But those words “To do thou shalt be with me” bring me such joy. In just a few moments I will be with Him in His Word, then I will be with Him in prayer, I will be with Jesus. Later as I ride in my car I will be with Him, as I sit in my study I will be with Him, as I go through this day I go each step with Him. The joy that brings to me cannot be expressed in just these few words, I will be with Him, Him with me. Are you going to spend your day with Jesus? Will you begin your day with Him? Will you think of Him throughout your day? Will you spend this day knowing that you are with Jesus and Jesus with you? It brings much joy to the heart of God’s children to remember that you are with Him today and Him with you. At least it does to me.
