Col 3:1-5
3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:Is Christ your life? If you are saved this morning, born again and washed by the blood of Jesus, He is to be your life. (Verse 4) The same voice that brought Lazarus out of the grave has proclaimed you clean and alive through Him. That makes Him your life. Everyday that Lazarus lived after Jesus brought him out of the grave he knew he lived because of Jesus alone. That is the same attitude the Christian should have after salvation. That Jesus Christ is our life. Every breath we breath, every step we take should be taken in Him. All that we say, all that we do is done in Jesus. Begin to see the truth that Jesus Christ is your life and you will begin to walk in that newness of life.
