Daily Devotions

Sorry about yesterday and no devotion. Called away on a camp semi emergency at 5:30AM. Problem with water but all was taken care of by 6:30AM
Isa 21:11
The burden of Dumah. He calleth to me out of Seir, Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?
Just one verse but what an important question; “what of the night”? Are you a watchman Christian? Are you on guard for things that creep in the night? I am not talking about bats, spiders or mice. I am talking about sin and how it can sneak up on you in the night. Little things, things that do not seem to matter, but things that get bigger in the darkness. That thing that Satan can take and set down beside you that you can say no to in the daytime but is hard to turn away from in the night. Remember Satan is the prince of darkness, he can work wonders in the night. That is why we need to stand in the light, we need to walk in the light, we need the light of Scripture to shine upon us all the time. We need to be careful of things that creep in the night. Are you a watchman?
