Zech 4:5-9 Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
8 Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you.
KJV
The axe head floated and was restored as we saw yesterday, today a mountain is made low. It was a great mountain before Zerubbabel but not one so great before the Lord. Our God cares about the little things and about the mountains before us as all. Note verse nine above, what Zerubbable started the Lord would enable him to finish. There are times when there are mountains in front of us that we can’t see over, that we don’t know how to get around, but our God knows all about them as well. What we have started in the Lord God will help us finish. Do you love Jesus today? Then don’t allow the mountains of life to stop or discourage you to the point you stop walking with Jesus. Be faithful, be true, He will lift you over the mountain top or make it a plain before you.
