KJV
I was driving on some roads yesterday that were anything but good, headed for a highway that most likely would have been worse. Where snow was not making driving difficult rain was starting to freeze on the roadway. I stopped and went back home in order to avoid an accident. Did you know there are highways in the Bible? But are those highways difficult to drive on and where are they headed? Many of the highways of life are dangerous and difficult to drive on. Even when we think we are headed in the right direction not all will be smooth driving. We need make sure we are on the highway of the upright, the highway of God’s choosing and not our own. Last evening the roads were cleared and today I will be able to drive more safely. Why not get on God’s highway and allow Him to clear the road in front of you? Read you Bible as carefully as you used to read your road map. Follow the leading of the Holy Spirit just as you follow your GPS. Learn the verses as you learned the routs you drive. Let God clear a way for you and maintain the road you are on. There are highways in the Bible.
