January 13th, 2021 by Pastor SolleyGen 45:27-28 And they told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said unto them: and when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived:
28 And Israel said, It is enough; Joseph my son is yet alive: I will go and see him before I die.

When Jacob heard the words of Joseph he revived. This man spent many years in sorrow, many years of wondering what really happened to his son. Jacob one could contend was just a shell of what he could have been during those years. Now as he hears his son is alive and hears the words he had to say his spirit was revived, Jacob had new life. One key to revival in our lives today is to be given to the Word of God, the very words of the true and living God and we have them before us in His Word. Why do so many of God’s people cling to every word they hear on FOX, everything that is written on social media, what they see on face book? Why be given to those things and not the Word of God? If you spend more time listening to those other voices than you do to God then things are out of balance in your life. I did not say to disregard the news, that social media is a sin or than face book is of the devil. I am saying God’s people can have revival if we just stop and listen to the Word of God, read His Word and meditate upon His Word? Where are you looking for revival today?
