1 Sam 7:12
12 Then Samuel took a stone, and set it between Mizpeh and Shen, and called the name of it Ebenezer, saying, Hitherto hath the Lord helped us.
KJV
There was a stone of remembrance set up by Samuel and it would be good for all of us to stop and remember the times the Lord has helped us. This has been a very difficult year for many of us, for our families, for our churches and for our nation. I know very few people if any who would say 2020 has been a good year. Yet our God is still good and our God is still there to be a help to us. To gage this year as a Christian we ought to look back and remember the times the Lord has helped us. My wife and I to this point have not been sick although we must have been exposed to this virus many times. None in the church have lost their livelihood to this point in theses days of lock downs. All those in the church who have been sick are now well and we continue to pray the Lord bring all through this difficult time. Souls have been saved recently. The Lord protected our week of camp. There are many blessings that we might overlook if we don’t make it a point to remember. Take some time to put up a stone of remembrance.
