Phil 3:7-8 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
KJV
What things are you willing to count but loss, to give up for Jesus Christ? Any Christian with a true desire to walk with Christ knows that there are things they must give up. We give up time in order to read our Bibles, to pray, to worship and so on. We give up friends who hinder our walk with Christ. We must turn our back on fleshly desires that take us into sin. There are things we must give up in order to walk with Christ. One things that Satan tries to hide from us is the fact that any and all of those things are replaced with something far better when we have that communion and close walk with Jesus. Why was Paul so willing to count all tings but loss, to give up all things? Because Paul knew by experience they were being replaced by things far better.
