1 Kings 18:41 And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.

It is so good to hear the sound of rain this morning and I am reminded who sends the rains when we need them the most. The disciples marveled at Jesus when even the winds and the sea obeyed His voice. It should be no marvel to us today that the rains are coming when so many are praying for rain. God truly is good to us all of the time. It is even like the rains of trial and trouble that come into our lives. God sends them at times to move us to prayer to move us to Him. Just like a lack of natural rain moves us to prayer so does an abundance of spiritual rain move us to Him. Always remember that God is in control of all things at all time which is the point of this devotional this morning and that we should always be moved to Him in prayer.
