Rev 4:1-2 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
KJV
This is the door we wait patiently to be opened today. Jesus said that He is the door, the door to heaven, and we must enter heaven through Jesus Christ. We then as believers in Christ wait for this door to be opened, we wait for the command to come up and meet Jesus face to face. How far away then is the opening of the door we find in Revelation four? None of us know and that is what makes it so important for us to enter into the door that is Jesus Christ. Yesterday I spoke of heaven with the emphasis being on salvation and there was no response to the invitation given at the end of the message. That scares me not because everyone in the service was saved but because everyone may not have been. Time is running out and salvation needs to be addressed. Are you saved today, are you sure? If not you need to make sure because that door may be opened today and what if you are not allowed to enter in?
