Daily Devotions

Heb 11:23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment.

Today is my birthday. I don’t share that to get birthday wishes or because this birthday is a milestone. I have long ago stopped looking forward to birthdays. But I do say that to thank the Lord for not only this day but every day and for the good life God has given me. I chose the above verse to thank God for the parents I was blessed with and the home I grew up in. My parents were people of faith, people who did all they could to see me saved, people who trained me in the way I ought to go and now that I am old I want to stop and thank God for them both. For Bible devotions in the home, for good churches, for good preaching, for Christian standards and a Christian home. This will I am sure be a good day for it will be a day in the Lord.
