Have you ever wondered what makes God smile? The words smile or smiled, they are not found in the Bible, yet we know that things please God and one of them before us this morning. Jesus pleased the Father and I imagine brought a smile to the face of God when God was well pleased. It was the obedience of Jesus that pleased the Father. Do you desire to have God pleased with you, to have God smile upon you? If so the one way that is accomplished is obedience to God, to His Word. The word pleased is found in relation to God several times in the Bible and most of the times there is a connection to obedience. Want to make God smile today? Obey Him.
