19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Sometimes the greatest gems in Scripture come in the smallest sentences. Such is the case in this passage not once but two times. “All power is given unto me”. Think of that for a moment. If all power is given to Jesus and Jesus is my savior then all power in heaven and earth is available to me. That all being true, what then should I fear today? No wonder David could say these words in the fifty sixth Psalm “What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.” Now we can as well say those words today and they are given even more strength with a few words in the last verse of our reading this morning. “I am with you alway”.
