April 2nd, 2020 by Pastor Solley2 Kings 6:15-17 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?
16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.
17 And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

This is the only place in the Bible the phrase “Open his eyes” is found and it is very fitting for our present day. The Lord was bigger than the enemy as the prophet and his servant were under the threat of attack. Although the servant could only see the enemy Elisha had his eyes on the Lord. Place your eyes on the Lord today dear Christian. Everyday our government tells us the enemy is larger than any we have ever seen. They put our numbers that are alarming and one wonders where they get them. Watch the news and you see a great depression coming, you see graveyards being filled with the forecast they give. But I encourage you this morning to take your eyes off the enemy and place them on the Lord. Can God protect you, could God heal you? Read this entire account about Elisha and his servant and your answer will be yes.
